Dear Ex Lover,

Posted by Laura Camila Rivera on October 25, 2013 at 7:50 AM

Dear lonely lover,

He had been looking for you. Almost his whole life, you know? Searching.

It probably wasn’t easy, you see, there’s a lot of wrong people in this world.

He thought you where the right one. I guess, he was wrong too.

Dear parasite,

He loved you.

Then again, love never was enough to define what he felt.

I guess it wouldn’t be enough for you to care anyways.

Dear deceiver,

How did it feel? Leaving behind your cares. Throwing away his.

The skin of another man, how did it make you feel?

Do you feel better now?

Dear frauder,

You’ve made a mistake. You can’t take it back. The past doesn’t change.

I wonder if you even tried to get him back.

I think he would have let you.

Dear heartbreaker,

I know you still have his shirt.

I read somewhere that serial killers like to keep a memory of their kill.

Heartbreaker, how many do you have?

Dear liar,

He’s afraid of heights now and he used to look for you in everyone.

He tried to give you eternal life through literature,

But somehow, I got through to him.

Yesterday I caught him burning it, the original copy, suffocating you.

I might have thought that was too much, but you killed him first.

Dear lonely, parasitic, deceiving, fraudulent, heartbreaking, lying, ex lover,

Yes, He cut you off,

But you handed him the scissors.

Love,

His wife
