People pass by every day and they know what they are doing and exactly what they want to be. I think the future scares me, and not only me, many people. The future forces us out of our comfort zones, makes us face obstacles, and may even bring good things. I hope I am not alone when I say that truly and honestly, I am not excited about facing reality on my own. I am always talking about how I am ready to leave my house and my school, but I am not. I feel ...

Thinking. Our minds have a habit of stringing along many ideas that if put together make no sense. These ideas come from the smallest things that we learn from a very young age to a world that is unknown in our future. I could be writing about this one crime scene and then all of a sudden think of tomatoes, to then think of bananas. These random thoughts and ideas come from a never-ending bank of ideas in the deepest parts of our minds. These ideas pop up...

Why grieve, if I know I am keeping all my loved ones within me? Those whom I consider loved ones have influenced me in one way or another, thus they left their mark on me, and I represent some aspect of them. Their physical absence will not change this, but rather make me further appreciate the way they changed my life. Whether I can see and feel them or not will not remove them from my mind and body. I will still grieve, well death may come so sudden and in weird ways, but I know I will be g...

My heartbeat is forceful, yet steady. My breath is light, but even. My body is drenched in varying coolness and radiating warmth. There is a soft and swift pounding and a fire in my feet propelling me forward. I am running in a 5K, and I’m in 5th place right now with one mile to go. I want to win; it’s been my dream to come first in one of these events my whole life. I push my legs harder to run faster, getting myself to second place. I see the archway that marks the finish line, ...

I am afraid of many things such as the dark, needles, and bugs. New fears appear often and old ones resurface randomly. This week on Sabrina’s Fears: The Zombie Apocalypse. I have been afraid of this sci-fi nightmare ever since I saw World War Z. The zombie's strange super speed the way they acted like ants piling up on top of each other freaked me out. Its been a long time since I've seen that movie so its weird that this fear resurfaced. I was walking around my neighborhood at n...

"Everybody convene in the amphitheater tonight at 9pm". Every 18-year old knew that when they heard this through their ear-piece, decision time was coming up.
Today's walk to the institution was different. Usually everybody from the same year jokes around, but today tensions were high amongst year 3016. Nobodt talked, nobody looked at one another, nothing. Everybody was glued to their computer during lesso...

There’s a big difference between living and just being alive. Someone who’s alive is breathing, walking, and getting by. When you’re alive you’re satisfied with whatever, you don’t really care about proving others wrong, and you view everything indifferently. When you live you experience life, you take risks, you go on adventures, take advantage of the opportunities that come your way, and go out of your way to accomplish your goals. Someone who lives is imaginat...

He leaves her dormitory and closes the door. She hears his footsteps grow fainter as he walks away from her room. Once at complete silences she walks to the balcony and looks out under the night sky. The stars are bright and luminous and the faint breeze moves the leaves of the trees. She looks around and notices that her room is in the tallest tower of the castle. A boulder on fir is flung towards the castle like a meteor from above.

There once was a big fat turtle, with lots of fake friends.
He climbed, he hiked, he ran, he swam, he fished, and slept all day.
One for a climactic day, never waiting for the end.
He saw Sally the frog and excitedly said “Hoo-ray!”
Sally was much older and faster than the fat turtle.
Yet again, all the other wild animals were faster.
Realizing this, turtle decided to turn purple.
Why purple? Why not!? It would make him the Ultra Master...
