Buddy, Molly, Princess, Amy, Grace, Runtu, Matt, Harry, Herma, Allen, Maddie, and London. They are my rocks, my pride and joy. I honestly don't know who or how i would be without them. I love them with my life. Even though some names on the list still aren't here with me, they will always be remembered. Buddy's death hit me the hardest, he was my first dog and a car had to be his way out. I cried but he gave me 4 other dogs to hold his and his wife's memory. I remember once, I was washing the...

A Beautiful Silhouette...

The Winter weather comes, the snow sets and the sun rises. There’s not a site of life but tall trees. A carriage moves past what used to be a lively prairie near the castle where children once played years ago. It rushes by heading towards a lost Kingdom of Trevnor, a place in which no one has been encountered since. It is said that, an evil being had entered the kingdom, burning all joy and beauty including its peopl...

Friday 9/11

Posted by alvaroriv on September 11, 2015 at 11:10 PM Comments comments (1)

Today was an odd day. Early in the morning, I was thinking about 9/11, while reviewing for my physics test that I had first block. I honestly did not do well in this test. This ruined my morning. I was mad for the next three classes. Let me clarify that I was mad with myself, not with anyone else, since it is my fault I didn't do well. Then I had a math quiz and it went much better than the physics test. My day was slowly getting better. After school I had a volleyball game, and we won. Boom,...

Not Forgotten but Hidden

Almost every night, before I go to bed, I contemplate everything that has happened to me in the day. My thoughts will not necessarily go in chronological order but more in the form of a network slowly growing branches and those branches growing branches and so on. I think thats how thoughts always are. When we think, we don't think in order. We remember one instance and from that one, one word could jump out and makes us think of something completely different. Thinking is l...

Reality Check!

When I was in 11th grade, I always though to myself, "Oh, Senior year is going to be a breeze!"

Looks like I thought wrong. Senior year is not easy, especially first semester. This first semester is when grades are extra important if your GPA is not the best. The grades in the first and second quarter are critical, also, parents (atleast mine) are ten times harsher than they were last year. It's tough when you d...

Everything is grape flavored. I dont know what to do or say anymore. I dont know who i am. I am lost. They left me in a massive library, containing every volume ever published. I dont know what happened. I must have gotten lost within the pages of countless stories. Living vicariously through heroic protagonists. Nothing feels the same. I was content with just floating about, flipping page after page, no real intentions. Im lost in a purple haze. Everything I touch turns to dust and crumbles ...

A good person is...

Posted by IsaJ on September 11, 2015 at 7:50 PM Comments comments (0)

kind and caring. A good person is reliable, trustworthy and honest. A person that tells the truth no matter how hard it is. A person who puts him or herself before others and is willing to help out even when not asked to. A good person goes out of their way to help others and make others happy. It's someone who gives and doesn't need anyting in return. However, just because someone does a bad thing does not make them a bad person. We're human, we all make mistakes. Nobody's perfect.

Define a "good" person

Posted by Cata on September 11, 2015 at 3:10 PM Comments comments (0)

A "good" person is one who has good, pure intentions and demonstrates care and support towards others. What distinguishes between a good and bad person are the intentions one demonstrates and truly believes to have. You may be a person who has done something wrong but has good intentions about it. wants a good outcome (dispite the results), and could be judged as a bad person. However, I believe the are not bad people. The same goes to the opposite situation. Some people may sh...

Have you ever heard of something more painful than a paper cut? Exactly, no. Paper cuts are evil, they come straight from hell to bring pain into our lives. Paper cuts always happen in the perfect places to infict more pain. Many people don't realize they get a paper cut until they wash their hands with hand sanitizer. That's when the pain is unbearable, unrealistic, the worst 1 minute of pain in your entire life. You feel your life flash before your eyes when that drop of hand sanitizier dro...
