In my swivel-y chair I sit

Staring at my computer screen for eternity

Swinging up and down through endless moods

Thinking about all the art I will make

All the effort it will take

I cant do anything

Piles of school work consume my mortal body

My head hurts

O why O why

Why am I doing this now?

I just wanna make art

With no pressure to create at all

I wanna make comics

I wanna play...

Class of 2016

To be honest, I have no idea how any faculty or administration likes anyone from our class. We are all clowns, jokesters, distracting, we love to party, honestly, any teacher's worst nightmare. Yet, in SJS, we have left a mark, and a big one. I hear so many people talking about us. If it's not about all our amazing college acceptance then it'sabout our sick parties we have or most importantly, how close of a class we are. How no matter what happens, we always support each other. How we have t...

My Angel and my Scholar

Posted by RayRay on April 21, 2016 at 10:40 PM Comments comments (0)

I lost two important people in my life a couple of years ago, one was an angel and the other was a scholar. The angel, all she wanted to do was sleep, eat, and for people to pay attention to her. The scholar, he was ready to conquer and improve the word with his knowledge and inventions; he wanted to bring back what was right in his country. They both taught me a lot, yet at the time I was to immature to actually pay attention and listen to what they were saying. Angel taught me that everyone...

She

Her desire is to temporarily dissapear. She does not want to commit to anything fully, because if she did she might regret it. It scares her to think that what she had before was the best it will ever get for her, therefore, committing to something new scares her because of the fact that it could be either the best or the worst decision of her life.

This overwhelms her deeply.

Being a ghost does not sound like the ultimate worst thing she could end up being. She fears physic...

Dear: The Re16n

I dedicate this to my incredible class of 38

Where there’s more love than hate,

But that’s up for debate.

Just kidding, it’s all mostly love

It’s a group of which all of whom I’m extremely proud of

We’ve spent 14 long years at St. John’s school

Some might even consider it cruel

The class of 2016

Will never forget their proud years of wearing yellow, white and green

The hurrican...

The beginning

Posted by Nick Y on April 21, 2016 at 8:00 PM Comments comments (0)

In a busy town street there was a small, wooden two story restaurant that served stew and porridge. Customers sat on wooden stools and ate over bar counter which behind was two chefs and two bartenders. In the back corner of the busy restaurant was a young boy washing the dishes surrounded in piles of plates and metal cups.

“Son! Hurry I need two cups! Says the female bartender.

Overdose

Posted by Bald Lightning on April 19, 2016 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Jokes. Comedy. Humor. Laughs. All necessary for humans. We love to laugh. We laugh when we're nervous, we laugh when we're happy, some laugh when we're sad, some laugh we're angry. Laughter is a way for us to deal with our emotions. Lately, however, I feel that these things are over abundant. I feel as if people aren't taking worldly matters, or themselves, seriously enough. When a terrorist group attacks one of the most important capitals of the world, the reaction of the world's population ...

Acai

Bananas. Strawberries. Nutella. Granola. Coconut Oil. Acai.

These are the items that make up my acai bowl. I always order it likes this. Never changing, some even might say ordinary. But I'm just a simple type of gal who knows what she likes. SImplicity does not have to mean less imaginative or routine. It just means that not everything in life is centered in making everything complex. Why must people make things more complicated than they actually are? Why? Complexity can be crea...

Liverpool F.C.

"Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that."

- Bill Shankly

I get offended when people say, "Oh Football (soccer) is just a sport". Football to me is way more than that. The feelings and emotions that I feel due to Football cannot be explained by just saying "Its just a sport". It a lifestyle, its a religion, its a passion that ...
