Rustle, rustle, crawl, crawl, hup!, shhhfff. The fleece of the sheep is soft, warm, and inviting compared to the cold unwelcoming wind that bit into its skin with no mercy. Its fingers sink deeper into the white fluffy clouds of wool. No one can find it here, it is safe, it is warm. Something pulls at the hands grasped so tightly and tenderly around the white clouds. Now its elbow deep into the wool. The torso that hung loosely, almost touching the ground, is now pressed against the underbelly of the unsuspecting sheep. The force that pulls is too strong now. It disappears into the sheep. They become one. It is safe here, no one can find it, it is warm.

That's why people lie. They are afraid you will figure out who they are before they can figure it out themselves.

Weird traditions

There can only be one champion. 4 red solo cups aligned at the edge of a table. 3 more follow right in front of them. In front of those 3, follow 2 more. Finally, the last cup is placed at the very top, creating the shape of pyramid. This is repeated on the other end of the table, creating an hourglass figure. A team of 2 stands behind one end of the table while another stands behind the table on the opposite side. Both teams stare each other down, and begin. One team begins; both players hold one round 4cm plastic ball. The first player steps forth and stretches his/her arm 90 degrees. Next, holding the ball between his/her thumb and index finger, tosses the ball in the air towards the other end of the table at a perfect 180-degree angle. The second player proceeds to do the same. Both plastic balls soon end up on the other side of the table, where the two members of the second team repeat the process. If a ball is made into one of the cups on the opposite side, one of the players must drink the water in the cup that the ball landed in. They sink it, you drink it. Then, he/she must take the ball out, clean it, and continue playing. This exchange goes on for minutes, sometimes even hours. It is absolutely crucial to aim at the proper angle for the ball to land in each cup. Each player takes turns drinking the cups as the balls land into them. The mission is to throw the ball into every cup, eliminating all of the cups on the opposite side. The team that eliminates all the opposite team’s cups first is the winner. Not only do you receive the title of “champions,” but bragging rights as well. Lastly, you must face the next two rivals up for the challenge.

Star Wars: Sci fi or Fantasy

Star Wars is hands down Sci Fi. Look at the techonological, majestic ships flying across space, an army of clones with lasers as weapons, the weapon of the force, the light saber, and most importantly Droids like R2D2. I can see why their may be a confusion of why it may seem like a Fantasy because if you replaced the characters with typical fantastic elements it may seem like it but that is not the case. StarWars is suggested as a critique on Nazi Germany after World War II. Moreover, we all dream to reach to the stars and achieve the technological advances portrayed in a 1970s film. It is no doubt that humans will slowly make Sci Fi into a reality.  We already can reach the moon, create bionic body parts, clone a sheep, create ionic engines but no where as fast as the Star Ship, and create robots with automated systems but not as advance as a human's.  Star Wars is just a dream comming into reality, just hope that there is not an universal dictator taking over the galaxies!

The lights are off

I see rows and rows and rows

Too many screens showing the same image brainwashing everyone

We cannot see anything outside of this tunnel but we feel it moving

We'll see where it takes us

Sci-fi

My biggest dream since forever, well that is related to sci-fi, is to attend Sky High. I mean how amazing would it be for everyone to have a super power and each person has a different one and the purpose of school is to fully learn how to completely use it. Imagine how sick our field day would be; we would separate into two teams and destroy one another. I wouldmake friends with as many people as possible because if a Civil War ever occurs, I don't want head to blow up. Plus, if I'm friends with everyone I can use so many more powers to my benefit.

Dos Seres Amarrados

Por doce años: dos

Juntas por amor

riendo y llorando

durmiendo y comiendo

Dos por siempre

como quiso Dios

Separadas aún conectadas

la distancia no hace nada

Más cercas de corazón

Como si una soga nos amarrara

Travel Travel Travel

We should all take time in our lives to travel the world to explore and learn. Not to relax and stay in a resort to tan but to actually go out and interact with the foreign society, try new things, and meet new people. The classroom does teach us things of several different fields but breaking out of our comfort zones is something we should definitely do. This allows us to become cultured, adventurous, courages, and well experienced for not only our memories but our future. I'd love to be able to travel already, like I need a vacation but to get out of school. It like senioritis except I still want to learn you know? To be able to see one in a life time situations or something away from a computer screen and in real life is something amazing.

The Auroras of Iceland and Scandinavia, hot springs at Blue Lagoon, the Maldives that is soon disappearing due to our global warming, Volcanoes in Hawaii, the Andes and Attacoma desert in Chile, the Chery Blossoms in Japan and Washington DC, so many countless places to see all over the world. We can't just visit one, we should try to see as many as we can.

This reminds me of the video I saw on Facebook. A young man worked and saved money for 3 years to travel the world for 1 year. That is something I desire to do.

Be that this is a killing machine with no

Life or evergreen,

I'd like to say making us watch that video was

Not ok. I'll never get back those precious minutes. Life as I

Knew it has changed.

You will pay.

"No problem."
